HF Customer Service ended up giving me a $14 gift card when I asked them why the sale did not apply to this particular product. This might be a good time to use it.
I haven't heard anything like that from users. I don't own either this or the Snap On version so I can't say form personal experience.

have a few LN47ACF, need to grab some 46's and I bet the 44's are handy too, the 47's are great but also a bit big at times, i think 46's will be a real happy spot. just depends what you are doing.
bought a drawer full of knipex... they're good but they aren't as strong as the snap-ons. all have their place.
