All ICON Pliers are on sale, so the knockoff Snap-On Talon Grips in the OP would be at the lowest price since they were introduced earlier this year, and the ICON knockoff of the Knipex Pliers Wrench [harborfreight.com] pliers would be 35% off of $40 (about $26 after discount).

The ICON® 9 in. Long-Nose Slip-Joint Pliers have a 3-position slip joint for maximum versatility and increased jaw capacity. It's a combination of slip-joint and needle nose pliers.

That ICON needle nose plier is super popular. Hard to keep in stock.

Tests show it to be pretty equal to the Snap On unit.

A while back, there was a coupon for all Icon wrenches. The Pliers Wrench did not qualify. I hoped that the manager understood adjectives, and used a metric wrench as the example. Is it a type of wrench, or a type of metric? It went nowhere.

Now I'm wondering if the Pliers Wrench will code as a pliers, or as a wrench this time.

HF Customer Service ended up giving me a $14 gift card when I asked them why the sale did not apply to this particular product. This might be a good time to use it.
Did you email or have to call the store?

Spring Black Friday? This has officially gone too far. I mean, I'm glad there are deals. Not complaining about that. Just naming it that is ridiculous.

They'll all be magically out of stock on April 11, so unless you're an Inside Track Member at HF……

Hard to keep in stock because people keep having to get replacements when the jaws get wrecked

I haven't heard anything like that from users. I don't own either this or the Snap On version so I can't say form personal experience.

I am a Knipex guy.

without the snap-on these wouldn't exist. $16 vs $70 and two completely different demographics.
have a few LN47ACF, need to grab some 46's and I bet the 44's are handy too, the 47's are great but also a bit big at times, i think 46's will be a real happy spot. just depends what you are doing.
bought a drawer full of knipex... they're good but they aren't as strong as the snap-ons. all have their place.

Cashier gave me 25% discount after I showed him the ad with pliers wrench
