Because honestly if saving money on this money saving website isn't worth it.. then why buy this at all and just wait for the G5 which is supposed to steal the color crown back from Samsung and set the goal post for brightness way ahead.

IIRC, that deal didn't have the free soundbar, free stand, or free installation. This is $543 more with tax (for me) than that deal, but I looked around online and it seems like I should be able to get a chunk of that back from selling the soundbar and stand.
I think I'll probably hold like you, because I'd rather just pay $543 less and not have to hassle with selling off the soundbar and stand, but man it's tempting.
The included soundbar is very good. It isn't a budget soundbar.

I think $800-$900 is the going sale price, so just watch for that to pop up (or lower) and you're golden. You won't be able to top it without spending at least 1.5-2x as much.
I actually switched over to a Sonos Arc Ultra + Sub 4 recently, which was about $1,400 with military discounts (and no tax). It's a very good system, but IMO hearing them side by side (I have both), they really do trade blows. Sometimes the Sonos is better and sometimes the Samsung is better.
I would personally recommend the Q990D to anyone who is looking at both systems, unless there's something in the Sonos ecosystem that you really want.
Worth noting that the Q990D has the soundbar + sub + rear speakers in the box for $800-$900. Sonos you have to buy each piece individually, and the soundbar alone is $800-$900 on sale. Sub is an additonal $650-$750 on sale usually, and rears just add on even more to that.
For this deal, that would be $108 back.

Also, I called LG today and said my Oled is burned which is true since it's from 2017. They gave me a 15% discount on my new purchase but they said it takes 2-5 days to recieve the code. I'll keep you all updated
