per hardware unbox, x3D chips are not as sensitive to memory so you wouldn't notice the difference (<1%) between ram latencies

What makes this worse is that Asus is purposely misleading with the naming of this board. The B650E chipset has PCIe 5.0 on the x16 GPU slot where a B650 does not. Asus is calling this a "B650-E" motherboard which has a B650 (non-E) chipset. It is definitely a more budget version.
It's still a decent deal in that you're getting a motherboard and RAM for around $200 after you factor in the price of the CPU, but it's not the motherboard and RAM I'd want to use if I'm buying that caliber of gaming CPU personally.

This price is meh, savings are like $50 or so for this combination. I got this CPU at Microcenter, bought a new 850 board and memory for a little less than $800 and I got to choose my parts.
