75% of the size capacity of the harbor freight 27" and 50% of the weight capacity, the HF lists at 399 but I believe gets marked down to 299 pretty frequently. So half the price. The real question is, can you live with the shallow 18" drawers where most of the difference is vs the harbor freight at 22" deep. Less critical imho is that this appears to be much lighter construction, but I think most folks buying a box this size don't necessarily need heavy duty steel etc, but the total capacity and actual weight are both about half that of the HF as well. Tool chest cost vs capacity improves up to a certain size (typically around the 42" models) and then plummets as you get bigger when cost to ship presumably cancels out the savings of being able to use less material overall relative to the space. Don't know that I can deal with the shallow depth, the top box at least now isn't discounted nearly as much either (199) so the pair is getting up there in price to "might as well buy..." in my case I keep going back to the full bank rolling cart or a 44 bottom probably from Harbor Freight.

Apples and oranges between the HF 30" 4 drawer tech cart in a lot of ways. That said, I'd buy the HF tech cart before I'd buy a 26 x 18 deep regular tool chest. Not sure how big the actual storage area of this is overall it's 15000 cubic inches, the tech cart only has 4500 cubic inches of drawer/lid space, but I think that's based on actual usable not just gross space. Also if you're not in a rush the bigger/imho better 5 drawer tech cart occasionally drops to around 189.
