I have used these in my xbox controllers, they are the 2nd worst rechargeables I've tried. They last about half as long as batteries of the same mAh. They work, but don't last long (per use, unsure about total lifetime)

For reference = I've tried Bonai, Mupoer, Duracell, EBL Rayovak, Tenergy. Rayovaks were probably the worst.
Results with Amazon basics batteries are very very mixed. Some people report having good success, others report having many them die quick.

The only thing I've seen that's pretty universal is that this 2000mah size is better than the 2400mah "high capacity" one.

My personal results have been positive, but many many others aren't.

To echo: amazon rechargeable batteries are the worst of any brand I've owned. I look forward to tossing mine out as they all have a rapidly diminishing return after I have charged them.

Eneloop: I have found to be the best rechargeable I've used. Not the fancy black ones: the white ones.

Not sure how terribly helpful this is but I was just looking at rechargeables today and watch Project Farms video. They suggested the brand power owl as their favorite in most categories. Might be worth a quick watch before buying

There are a lot of good battery chargers out there. I got one with a little display that shows a lot of information that I found to be a particularly helpful. If you are invested in rechargeable batteries, I highly recommend getting a good charger.
Has anyone kept up with the "good charger" market? Back in the day, it was Lacrosse. I have probably 20 batteries that no longer charge in my eneloop-branded chargers. I'm pretty sure they just need the "rehab" function (probably slightly too low voltage) to get going again.

Anyone got a good rec? Bonus points if it does Li batteries, too. Thanks!

I've thrown out most of my Amazon and powerowl batteries and just went with eneloop

You'll have these for a decade. Just do it right the first time and spend the extra money on eneloop

I just threw out all of my powerowl. Couldn't get them to charge past 60% after a year or so. They would report charged, but a battery tester proved otherwise.

Multiple chargers and no luck.

It will but for the same price u can get an intelligent charger that will trickle charge the final amount (which should increase battery life/cycles)
Name of this $10 intelligent charger?

Price per battery seems decent. My local Costco has the Energizer recharge 4xAA + 2xAAA + charger for 9.97.. so went with that instead..

NiMH runs at 1.2 volts. Rechargeable lithiums run at 1.5 volts. Make sure your equipment can run fine with the lower voltage. If it's something that needs the extra juice from 3 or 4 batteries it's best to go the lithium ion route.

Do NOT waste your money on these!
If you want inexpensive rechargeable batteries buy the Japan-made ones from IKEA or get a good set of Eneloop batteries.

Agreed!
Avoid these Amazon rechargeables.
Go with Eneloop or the IKEA LADDA ones made in Japan:

Oddly enough These Amazon ones don't fit properly in some of my devices. Just a hair too tight.

Here's a Different deal - 4 pack AA + 4 pack AAA plus charger for ~$6 with a 30% plus a clipped 40% coupon. Reviews for the brand seem good.

What has been your experience with it?

I got mine today and the charger is giving false readings all over the place. Says its charging an already fully-charged battery…
