That said, this is a deal for PC....
Edit.
I felt the need to update this so I don't steer anyone away from this great series. The combat system, variety on weapons and the way it makes you feel like a ninja has no comparison even in today's games. I should have been specific. The freaking camera and just directional movement shows its age. Thats what I meant when compared to todays standard combat RPG games.
I bought it a while back on the switch and it was worth it to me. There hasn't been a game to match it imo but I don't think most gamers want that anyway. I never played the Playstation versions either so that was a bonus to me. Still has the long load times for checkpoints that drives me crazy when I'm dieing consistently on Master Ninja though as well as the fixed save points but playing it on a new generation console where you can put it in standby alleviates Some of that annoyance.
Supposably. Supposably?

This is the craziest comment I have seen in a while on here⦠what standards are you talking about? This series is all about f*ck standards lol
The thing that frustrated me more than anything was just the stupid difficulty. I played the original Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox, I played Ninja Gaiden Black, and Sigma just seemed like it wanted to amp up the difficulty even more by throwing an arbitrarily large number of enemies at you at any given moment, such that Hayabusa doesn't seem to have time to do anything but block, roll, and Flying Swallow attack before he's hit by 15 enemy ninjas, 5 soldiers with machine guns, and an attack helicopter, all right outside of a save room.
