Preachy blanket statements like this that give no explanation or justification are going to do nothing to accomplish what you're looking for. You just come off as obnoxious and someone nobody wants to be around.

damn... I accidentally typed this reply initially as a rep given... definitely didn't want to do that. Does anyone know if I can retract it? Doesn't really matter, but the last thing I want to have done is give rep to this kind of post.

Decent price, but they need to stop calling Honey Nut Cheerios "Heart Healthy". Nothing heart healthy about sugar laden cereals.

Excellent price considering that it is regularly $7.99 at Kroger.

quite the opposite. the sugar triggers inflammatory response in body. triglycerides to go up your liver makes more LDL bad cholesterol while lowering the HDL. it's not rocket sky-ence.

Since this thread has already been crapped on... I thought bagged cereal was for the poor.

P.S. My family growing up was a value brand bagged cereal family.

Pretty sure the 2-pack (55oz total) at Costco is a better deal when on sale. It was around $5.80 a month ago. Plus, I like having only one box open at a time, keeping the other one fresher.
