besides expiration day, is there any other restriction with Adidas promo gift card? Can you use it in conjunction with regular Adidas gift card?

Another downside to these is that if you use a CC for part of the purchase and make a return, Adidas will always return the GC funds before returning any credit to your CC. Doesn't seem like they should be able to get away with that, but their reps claim the refund is processed that way by default and they can't do anything about it.

so let say if I used 5 gift cards, would they refund into 1 card or just another 5 cards?

This is great as it's 42.8%+CC bonus to easily make 45% which to me is unheard of

Oofda! Thanks for the correction in my fatal overlook!

I'm certainly still happy with 30%x4 as my last batch finally ran out last summer and the resale sites aren't this good. Even with a 3 months out bonus being a part of this.

You should, even if it's a gc it's still a money value, for all they know that card was bought for full price.
