I actually bought this after missing out on the Walmart deal. Arrived in 4 days, box is BOSE and says "remanufactuered", the soundbar looks brand spanking new and no issues with it in my limited time. Now just waiting for my cables to arrive from Amazon to try to hook up my 3rd party sub.

Arc is like more than 4x the cost so it's not a fair comparison. I had this and the beam 2 side by side and decided to keep this because of the lower price (factoring in sub) and actual atmos speakers.

Got mine today. Remote is different (no bose music button), so I was unable to enter setup mode to add it to bose app. 🤷 however, after turning it off and then turning it back on, it automatically went into set up mode. But then it would not connect in the app ("oops something went wrong" error) because I use Google Wi-Fi and it doesn't separate 2.4 and 5 GHz so I had to get an old android phone that's only 2.4 GHz compatible and connect it with that.

Got mine delivered today. It's a white box but the soundbar, remote and all cables inside are brand new. This sounds incredible and the bass is very good for music. Movie's dialogue is crystal clear.

I only hope it will eARC with my 8 year old Samsung UN65KS8000 that inexplicably loses connectivity with my Samsung KW450 soundbar. Not sure where the issue lies but f%#k Samsung.

I just got this and I also had a lot of issues with my Samsung TV from 2018. It's a 4k curved display with the AnyNet+ box - which I think is what is causing problems for me.

This sound bar sounds amazing, but pairing it with an older TV like ours isn't easy from my experience. The bose app does have at least 8 different CEC profiles they have to help troubleshoot and fix, but I just keep mine connected via arc and optical so that I don't have to worry about it. It's really really finicky trying to use the arc via hdmi on mine.

Yep, I fear the AnyNet+ box is the culprit.
Interesting I did not know you could ARC via optical. I've been using hdmi with sporadic success.
