Yeah, I personally really like their stuff, but I only get it when it's deeply deeply discounted.
Maybe it's just the SD community that doesn't buy their stuff? I think people like my parents readily buy stuff just straight from the best buy shelves without shopping around for something cheaper because they don't know any better.

Which is totally fine for most people I feel too. If people don't have the inclination or time to research things, it's probably better to send $50 more on something knowing it won't burn your house down and may last longer.
