Personally i'd pick this over the Dell. FSR4 is pretty amazing and knowing that 5080 is pretty similar in-comparison to the 9070XT. 1% lows perform very well on the 9070XT. The Dell is trolling with 16GB DDR RAM, pretty easy replacement but if you're buying a pre-built at this price for it's high performance you're pretty good on this deal. It's a lot cheaper than building it yourself due to scalpers and you'll be able to run games at ultra easy peasy.

Skytech gaming really needs to hire an artistic director/ Industrial designer.

Their PCs are so damn fugly. Big Grin

I mean just look at all the photos they take with the slanted GPU sag, that looks so jank and amateur.

A $1 GPU stand or bracket fixes the problem.. And the color coordinating, atrocious 14yr old lvl.. The only times we see worse is on Reddit build a pc.

The Dell has worse CPU. This has the best AMD CPU you can get, hence best gaming CPU available now.
9070XT is not as good as 5080.
The Dell deal needs you to add more ram and maybe add more SSD later. ( do not add from Dell by your own)
Issue with Dell is they usually have their own motherboard and bios which is locked.

Anyone buying pre built won't care about motherboard, locked bios, or even want to add nvme by themselves.

They want to plug it in and forget about it.

With that said, you are correct. Dell uses the most basic, just enough to get by items. Bunch of useless bloat ware

This is about $300 over MSRP if you were lucky enough to grab an XT from microcenter at launch. Given the availability of GPUs right now, I would call this a fair deal. Typical mark-up for pre built is around ~$100 during normal non sales times.

Hopefully nobody buys these from any of these companies mostly from how the whole situation was played out. With that said, I'm good on the 9070xt until a good price, because they can keep those cards to themselves.

Used PCPartsPicker and selected equivalent specs for the component and WITHOUT video card, the total was already $1203.58. Seems like a pretty good deal for those who don't want to build their own PC and factoring scarcity of 9070XT.

Those x3d chips are great in 1080p, but in 1440p/4K gpu bound games the 3D cache doesn't have any advantage over any other current chip. Very well explained on Hardware Unboxed channel and Jay 2 cents.
