I will offer a counterpoint to the virtues of this product. I tried this exact version a few years ago direct from the company and sent it back. The cooling function really isn't cooling as much as it is pumping ambient air from the floor into the sheets. That may or may not be cooler air depending on the region you live in and how humid your air is. I've actually setup a fan next to my bed on hot nights with a small gap exposed at the bottom of the sheet and felt like it was the same experience albeit not as much air flow. I'm not going to dispute whether Bed Jet helps people or not as it either does or does not create a better night sleep but I just could not get on-board for the price point and lack of real cooling. I also felt like the marketing was a bit disengenious. Lastly, I have also grown fond of the feel of a heavy weighted blanket which this product tends to create the opposite. I'm not sure it would be very easy to DIY a replacement (at least the remote control) but I believe they mentioned on the company's Shark Tank debut that it cost a whopping $98 to make the product. Just sharing my two cents and experience with the product.

The force is strong with you.

Not one person mentioned the fact that you HAVE to leave the sheet hanging off the bed - its not like the air gets pumped in no matter what. I personally like to burrito my feet and legs up with the comforter, so this would never work for me.

Also on a side note - do you feel like conversations on here are happening much less? I used to comment a few times a week and would almost always get a response. Now I feel lke half the stuff I say is shadow banned or something.

Awesome deal, thank you for posting it!

I know the deal is over but I've just gotta say, this is probably my favorite item I own. I still have the first version I got like 8 years ago and I've never had a problem with it. I keep thinking about getting a newer version but then I figure I'm so happy with the one I have, I'm not sure if there's a good reason for me to get a newer one, lol. Unless I had two bedjets going at once. OOoooooooh Autumn lol

I'd hold out a bit longer. I believe there's a Bedjet 4 coming soon. The Alexa/Siri functionality they promised for Bedjet 3 was abandoned (my personal opinion was the unit didn't have enough horsepower) a few years ago. I think there will be a Bedjet 4 that will have the power to finally do that integration ("Hey Siri, it's bedtime" - and it runs the appropriate program for the season).

This was a smoking hot deal for the people who didn't have one yet, though. Perfect introduction to the platform at a great price. It will make a lot more, uh...fans.

While I have you, what's the deal with SD featuring a bunch of negative posts about the deal in the mobile version of SD? I wasn't even aware you could up/down vote individual posts because I use the desktop version and never see that. But for a deal with 90% "GREAT DEAL" it's misleading for most or all of the featured posts on the mobile SD to be negative. I understand it's probably manipulation, but it's a weird dissonance.

My order of 2 arrived today in PA. I don't think I got a tracking number unless it went to spam or something.

I ordered on the 15th. I got a tracking number from UPS yesterday and the package from PA. arrived today. I'm in WV for reference. I never did get a shipping notice directly from Bedjet.

Thanks again for the deal. It was a good deal when compared to past deals. Not sure how I'm going to get along with the Bedjet since I use a body pillow. I figure it may block some of the air.

If you have the cloud sheet, it puffs up and transmits the air over you and any obstructions like body pillows.

That thought had crossed my mind. Do the sheets ever go on sale or are there any coupons or discounts during the year?

I just got everything set up. With the body pillow I can still feel the air so I may be good for now. I have a nice set of 100% organic cotton percale sheets and they are very light and airy. Combining the sheets and bedjet should be a treat. The Bedjet sheets would be a nice addition though.

The sheets sometimes go on sale, but it's not very much off the usual price as I remember it. I just bit the bullet and bought the sheet. Makes a big difference in the bedjet effectiveness.

If you click "VIEW YOUR ORDER" on your confirmation email, it takes you to a page with the tracking number on it. I didn't get a tracking/shipping email, but the tracking number was on that "VIEW YOUR ORDER" page.

It also comes from a fulfillment center here in CA, so the shipment doesn't even show up as bedjet or a corporation name on UPS MyChoice. Mine showed an incoming shipment from "CEVA-CLS-SPARE-BRIDGE" which provided no clue it was a bedjet.

Haha, the home made ghetto version. Like when your mom makes you a burger with Wonder Bread while your friends get McDonald's. Or maybe that's just me? 🤔

I actually tried this with a wheeled portable unit awhile back. I don't know if it was because it was a cheapo unit with a thermometer that wasn't that sensitive or what, but it was either off or blowing incredibly cold air at my feet which didn't work out. It was more of a whole room AC so maybe that's why it didn't work. maybe it would work better if I rigged together a cloudsheet like blanket so it distributed it instead of freezing my feet but we since gave the unit away.

I ordered this last night so I hope this works better.

Let me know if you like your Bedjet vs the AC hooked up to a hose. I'm tempted to try it out. Just a few items from Home Depot and I have a turbo cooled and heated sleep system that will destroy anything on the market. Including a $2300 8sleep.

The only downside I can see is that an AC unit will not measure under-the-covers temperature well and keep the cooling or heating on because you're heating inside the sheet and not in the room. So like you said, you'll either freeze or cook.

Yeah, the only issue I've had with mine is the iphone app. Since it's the first version bedjet, the app for it doesn't seem to be supported anymore and sometimes it'll crash. But it's not a huge deal.

Sorry, I meant to answer this the other day and got distracted and then remembered your comment when I turned on my bedjet last night, lol.

It's an automated thing, where it will just feature the comments with the highest votes. It works well in threads where there are negative helpful comments that might get buried. Like if someone posts a game and everyone says just thanks or talks about the game but you've got one person in the middle who says "I bought from this merchant and they sold my information". It's good to have that highlighted since it may have gotten buried otherwise. I do think there is room for improvement though and it's actually something we've been discussing. I'll add your feedback to the mix, thank you!

I use my regular sheets and comforter. It's awesome because it'll puff it all up and I feel like I'm in a heated igloo lol. Confused my cat, though.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm sure it's a pain to try to manage it. Fortunately, I was completely unaware it was even a thing because I don't like/use the mobile version of SD. So, I'll likely return to blissful desktop SD obliviousness and leave the problem-solving to you and the rest of the staff here. Wink

So I got this unit Wednesday. The thing I noticed is that if you do not get the cloud sheet, your comforter HAS to be pulled down all around the blower for the air to have any effect. Otherwise, the path of least resistance for the air is under and out of that corner of the bed and not through the entire comforter, reaching the upper part of your body.

This is a problem for me because sometimes, I pull up the sheets when I sleep, resulting in the blower being completely exposed and uselessly blowing air into the room.

I'd say overall, the bedjet is a 5 out of 10 without the cloud sheet.
