Like someone else said, when you're in the app and in the store it says at the top that online is $499, but the store you're in is selling for $399.

I also grabbed the M1 for $300 last week but I'll be returning now. It's not a significant bump but I'll take double the storage and 20% faster average cpu/gpu. Hoping to get 4-5 years out of it and I'd rather pay an extra $100 now to guarantee i don't see microstutters in 3 years.
