Are you saying this is better or the conair ? I have the Phillip original and it no longer cut well after a short use. The cost of the replacement blade is almost maybe worth buying by a new one

you would be lucky for the unit to last before the battery dies
This trimmer is on par with the cylindrical nose hair trimmers. Both do about the same quality cut. Micro Touch is a notch better than both designs.

I bought the micro touch titanium Max, it died within the first use. Kept turning off every 5/10 seconds. I immediately returned it.
I'm not willing to try again. Will have to choose between these two.
I had the old norelco which was the same design as the micro touch, that one lasted me like 4 years. Unfortunately they changed the design to the current two sided blade.
