Yeah any furniture I've seen made from Composite has been cheap and bad with liquids warping it if not cleaned immediately.

I don't believe the $650 retail price given its particleboard.

Great price, but I gotta move everything off the desk to open it up, which means I can't really keep stuff on it all the time. Kinda makes it inconvenient to use for me. Too bad though, 'cause the price is awesome.

Interesting deal.
This whole thing is "Composite Wood" (aka saw dust) but it is probably good as computer desk if you like the color.

This quite honestly seems like an awesome computer desk. Does anyone know the exact depth of the front to back dimension for the wider flip-up section? If deep enough it can be enough surface area for a gaming mouse pad so that one can stand and game if they have a monitor on a spring arm.
