For those that are wondering solid reviews:

It's important to note that Samsung's 2024 OLED lineup is confusing. They're releasing S90Ds with both WOLED and QD-OLED panels, and the type of panel you get varies by the TV's size and what region you're in. A QD-OLED panel's performance and overall picture quality is typically better than a traditional WOLED panel, so this decision will surely lead to some disappointed customers. Our review is based on the QD-OLED version of the TV. You can find more information on the S90D's different panel types (https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...ifferences)

You know there was a double blind test done by HDTV Test recently
The Samsung S95D was voted the best over all OLED over the LG G4 and Sony A95L

I personally own the Sony A95L...but I think I could be very satisfied with the Samsung S95D

How's the burn in risk on these? I know the technology has improved in this regard, but I still read and hear about it happening on OLEDs. With small kids who leave the video game consoles on constantly burn in is a concern.

Price drops are now beginning.

Here's some insights I have as I own a s90c, s95b, and now an lg c4. QD Oled is far superior it's actually kind of sad. that being said the lgc4 looks incredible especially with dolby vision. Now that I've experienced how dolby vision looks like on a modern tv, the lack of it on the s90 series actually feels like a dealbreaker. It's like buying a ferrari but without wheels. Next year I'm saving up my pennies and buying the g5

I've used my LG C1 for many hours of elden ring and God of war and have had no issues with burn in. These TV's have tons of burn in protection that you'd have to neglect them to reach burn in point.

Excellent TV. Have 2 S90Cs. QD-OLED's still best on the market outside microLED.

I have the 65 S90D in my living room. It's incredible, especially for HDR content and gaming.

I just bought the 77" version of this TV with the QD panel 2 weeks ago, upgrading from an LG C2.

The color and brightness difference is actually pretty wild. I use it exclusively for gaming and Overwatch 2 seems like a completely different color palette on this. This price is wild and if you don't already have an OLED you can do no better than this (except the s95d I guess)

Just FYI, seeing $1259.99 after military discount, not $1192.50. Still the best price I see on this set.
