I wasn't aware this was a thing. I will try it when my card arrives. What is the process? Download the software and is there they an option to verify or register the card with Samsung?
You would download and install the software from Samsung's website. When you load it up, on the very top, it would list your storage devices, including the micro SD cards, NVME, etc. Just select your sd card, and the information will list whether it is authentic or not. Yes, you can register your cards in the app also.
I have the same type but 512GB that I bought last year in March for $29.99. Still working well in my Samsung Galaxy phone. When this drops to $59.99, I am in for 1.
