I am looking to vlog. I would be using it mainly for automotive journalism. POV of in car drag racing and maybe attach to the car itself. What is my best option under 400?
Also I heard the newer gopros you are required to register them online or something?
TIA

I would either go with the pocket 3 or the insta360 pro2. Both have their pros and cons. A bit of searching and patience would allow you to grab what you need sub 400

Good price on this one. Just purchased an insta360 Ace Pro2. That was more expensive, but has more features and better overall video quality, especially in low-light situations. Something I wanted and was willing to pay for.
This is a great price on a solid camera that has lots of things going for it.

My gf does onlyfans, will this work for her recording in high quality?
Sure. It is waterproof, has built in stabilization, works in low light conditions and has ultra-wide mode as well. Believe these features will definitely come hand-y 😉.
Ordered one for our upcoming trip, thanks OP! Been meaning to get an action cam for a while. Also got a Ulanzi neck mount, Ulanzi TT52 selfie stick/tripod, Smallrig protective frame, and Telesin waterproof case on the way from AMZN in case anyone's interested in some options for accessories.

Pocket is nice but it's not waterproof. This one can take a beating and can withstand heat and cold

Different use case, I wouldn't take a pocket skiing or riding a motorcycle.
