Some cordless vacuums sacrifice suction for lightness. The Dyson Digital Slim™ delivers the powerful performance you’d expect from a Dyson, yet it’s 33% lighter than the Dyson V11™ vacuum. With up to 40 minutes of fade-free suction, it is pioneering Dyson technology concentrated for deep cleaning.¹ Engineered for homes with pets. It has advanced, whole-machine filtration that captures pet allergens and fine dust and expels cleaner air. Thanks to the cordless format, it also transforms into a handheld vacuum with one click so you can clean up high, down low, and everywhere in between. Comes with a 2-year warranty and lifetime Dyson support. ¹In Eco mode. Actual run time may vary based on power mode, floor type and/or attachments used. ²In Boost mode. All other modes achieve at least 99.97% filtration. In the box: Motorbar™ cleaner head, Combination tool, Crevice tool, Wall dock, Charger. The ideal balance of power and weight. 33% lighter than the Dyson V11™ vacuum. With up to 40 minutes of fade-free Dyson suction.¹ Motorbar™ cleaner head deep cleans all floor types. De-tangles wrapped long hair and pet hair as you clean. LCD screen shows power modes, maintenance alerts, and remaining run time to the second. Has 3 cleaning modes for the right power where you need it. Converts to a handheld vacuum for cleaning cars, stairs, and upholstery.

Nvm I ended up cancelling the order, noticed it was $250 before Black Friday and reviews mention lower power and battery life compared to some of the non-slim versions

And a few people mentioned it being too short as well. I've not compared it to other Dyson cordless vacuums but I'm 6'3" and don't want to be hunched over constantly when using it.

I wasn't interested until seeing your comment as I was always complaining Dyson is too long for my height lol
Note that it mentions the slim is worse in almost all pickup performance compared to the v7. I think this fact alone should be enough to turn ppl away from this product.
I have one and I like it, but we just use it for spot cleaning rather than whole house vacuuming. It's well suited for smaller tasks. I would like if it was a little longer (like the normal V12 apparently is) as I'm 6'0 and end up a little hunched using it to vacuum the floor. It picks up well on medium power, which seems to be its sweet spot. The high setting feels like its really pushing it's limits and doesn't give much battery life, while low seems a bit weak suction wise. This price is just ok though, it released at $250 last year and went on sale for $230 so $280 isn't exactly a deal for it.
