Broken Sword games are good fun if you haven't played them. Recently played the first Deponia as well and enjoyed it—the main character is kind of a self-centered ass which is a big change from the "good guy has to help everyone he meets" formula.

Beyond a Steel Sky and Broken Sword 5 are both really good. Especially at that price.

Just to add: The Deponia series is a German game translated to English, so some of the dialogue is a little disjointed at times.

Most of the humor is very dry and, at times, forced in a way that doesn't feel like it fits the scope of the game's world.

It's been many years, but there was also some controversy with jokes made in poor taste.

I can see why some people were offended by it, but like I said previously, the worst part is that it takes you out of the game world for a moment.

If you can get through the first game, the sequels are way less rough in this aspect.
