Tempted but holding off. Many reviews complain of broken lids in shipping and lack of replacement lids. Further, the dimensions mentioned seem to be off by almost 25% on one side, as per the top negative review.

I've bought these for years from Costco with ZERO issues! IN for 4 sets of 4 in the Christmas colors!

Thanks for sharing your experience. How do you compare these with the 27 gallon size? Volume-wise, the larger ones are a better deal, and even more so when they go on sale for a buck or so off. Any particular benefit of these 12 gallon ones over 27 gallons besides ease of lifting if heavy? Thanks.
