I believe it's been at this price for a while. Also, it's a BRUSHED set

Don't worry about them being brushed. This is a perfect set for doing large home projects and they won't let you down. I got basically the same set 13 years ago and they have built a deck, gutted and changed floor plan of a basement, gutted and remodeled a kitchen, trimmed trees, hung drywall, and every other smaller job in that time.

You're right. All the same. Just like Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini. Since they're all owned by Volkswagen. Yup, all same.

If same price and type of tools, ryobi brushless vs milwaukee brushed, which one would you pick?

If you have to ask you probably don't need brushless, go for the cheapest.

It depends on the type of projects you do? Look at everything the tool line has to offer. You're buying into an Eco system.Everything being the same. Milwaukee is more of a Pro line tool Ryobi is more affordable and for less frequent or Home project use.

They are not the same company at all, both were bought by TTI, as are RIDGID and HART.

Not the same company, but the same company. Okay then. Someone needs a reality check...

Yea, all the VW company's made cars are of pretty much the same quality, just different looks. You pay for the looks, don't really get a better product from the same company...

Can't wait to get my Jetta up to 180 mph this weekend. I wish I knew earlier that it was a Hurrican in disguise.

I bought this set NIB from eBay back in 2019 for the same price. It handled everything I could've asked from it including building an entire shed from scratch. I finally replaced it once I noticed the brushed motors getting hot enough where it would burn my hands if I had to place them over the back to provide pressure.

Honestly in 2025 I'd recommend getting a newer brushless/fuel set regardless. The 3.0XC batteries were great, but the new CP ones are literally half the size and weigh considerably less. I've used the included light a ton, but it is genuinely awful.

Purchased a fuel set with 3.0/6.0 batteries for $250 end of last year –so I'd say hold out for a better set. You can get a sawzall/light when you need it.

Are higher end MacBooks not better than lower end MacBooks

Are top of line TV skus not better than their bottom tier skus from the same brand?

Companies can definitely have different levels of quality and features it's how they capture a larger amount of the market. If their margins are tight they will cut corners on quality control.

CPU manufacturers use the same parts and process for all their CPUs but bin the best parts for their higher and skus and the rejects for their lower end skus
