I bought one last time. Great bike. I made a video about it!
I have this bike and it is a solid buy. I bought it last time for similar price. Plenty of power and speed for my wife. I like the removable battery! The controller is your typical cheap Chinese controller, don't expect extremely smooth acceleration or great pedal speed assist like on the higher end bikes. You can adjust some of the settings if you know what you are doing in the controller.

Once you get in the programming menu it is similar to the 'Lectric controller:

P01 1-3 Screen brightness
P02 1 0=km 1=miles
P03 48V battery size
P04 10 sleep timer
P05 1 Number of gears
P06 22 Tire size (Older bikes came 20 and was changed to correct speedo)
P07 1 Magnetic poles. HIGHER IS SLOWER
P08 30 Stock 45+ To unlock PAS speed limit
P09 0 Throttle on=0 Throttle off= 1
P10 2 0=PAS only, 1= throttle only, 2 both working
P11 3 PAS sensitivity
P12 1 PAS strength
P13 12 PAS Sensor type
P14 18 Current limit
P15 40-41.5V Low power limit
P16 0 Hold up to clear Odo to zero
P17 0 auto cruise control.
P18 100% Speed indication ratio
P19 0 Gear
P20 0 Communication protocol
Says who???
Google AI says not so, based on current information.
Please, list the source. Don't spread vicious rumors.

I bought one last night, and I would like to know how you unlock it to 28 miles? I searched but had no luck. I played with the settings on my other bike. It went fast, but the speed delay was messed up and only showing 4 miles per hour, lol

Don't remember everything I did to do that. I down loaded the list of what each controller # did. And maxed out the ones for amps.
There is a factory reset incase you mess up, I did it a few times.
For MPH, you have to have the correct tire dimension set in the controller

This is a great bike at a killer price. I haul two kids in a wagon seat and one on a dedicated seat on the back rack, no sweat, but I do have to pedal up the hills. 25mph is plenty fast, and the folding feature is really nice for winter storage or travel.

HOWEVER.

I'm 6ft tall and I find this to be the perfect size at the lowest seat setting.

I don't think they had seatpost options last deal, but I know other commenters found the seat to be high.

It's possible the bike will be too big.

The vendor provided information here:

"AUSTIN is available in two seatpost versions:

A standard seatpost, for which Senada Bikes officially recommends a rider height starting at 5'2".

A suspension seatpost, which is approximately 5 cm longer than the standard version, with an official recommended rider height starting at 5'4".

These recommended rider heights are based on data collected from test riders, brand ambassadors, and previous customers and are intended as general guidelines and should be used for reference only. Actual riding experiences may vary individually.

If your AUSTIN is with a suspension seatpost, you can contact Senada Bikes customer service via email at [email protected] to inquire about purchasing a standard seatpost.

For any other questions about the bike, such as factory settings parameters, please also reach out to Senada Bikes customer service for assistance."

I have this bike..great for the price even less than I paid.

Biggest issue is the folding brackets.. absolutely awful pain in the ass vs other bikes when folding and my seat one broke in 3 months. They sent me a replacement but definitely the weak point of this bike.

Thanks. Do you know if the folding brackets are upgradeable? I'm trying to decide if I want to save a little by getting this or just get another lectric.
