Wouldn't receomment because of the battery situation. Even though i use rechargable batteries, to have to take out the batteries, find the charger, charge, then put them back in, sucks.
I'm only getting rechargeable flashlights in the futre

Rechargeable, magnetic, mode memory, good tint and cri, really nice lanyard. Fantastic light for the price.
I've kept one outside for picking up dog poop at night for 2 years 24/7 and it still works great.

Serious question what happens when the internal battery dies on rechargeable? At least this way you can replace the batteries.
*I figured it out, I saw a video where the design like this was a plastic ring that holds in the lens. Assuming that I was able to remove the lens and PCB and able to modify the board to be single mode max on off.
