Lets not paint your masonry. It'll save you a lot of headache.

Why it's not a good idea to paint masonry?

Does anyone know if this would be good to use as a primer/sealer for a bathroom?

No, this has silica sand in it so it will have a rough texture.

Is this like dry lock which is almost double the cost? Do you get what you pay for? I tried some Dry Lock on my partial basement wall to see if it would help with seepage and reduce efflorescence. It worked surprisingly well in the areas I tried it.

Yes, it is the same, latex paint with silica sand. Oil based formulas will have a higher PSI rating.
