I sold mine a while ago, was biggest mistake of my life.. they are finally back to a normal price.. there's a learning curve, but you can be VERY creative and do amazing stuff with these things.
The word 'mistake' is going to bring some upset people to the thread. Also looks like a price drop everywhere, I just picked it up on Amazon. Love teenage engineering and have been wanting to play around with these, so thanks OP. RIP this thread tho.
Honestly I blame slickdeals every time this happens. How can you expect people to just know not to use the word? Slickdeals on the other hand can easily enough have an error window pop up before posting saying "are you sure you want to use the word 'mistake'?" Or they are schills using the word on purpose - either way slickdeals can solve this

Good idea, I'll pass it along. I personally enjoy this odd little tradition but can easily see where it has its problems.

OP used the words mistake and price in seperate sentences so I doubt it was on purpose.
Tbh, I don't know why people make such a big deal about it and I can guarantee you, SD will not care enough to implement a feature. Anyone can just delete their alert for price mistakes if they're so bothered by the occasional false positive. It rarely happens and not enough to make it a thing.
If people want to be on the "front lines" of an SD PM post, then they just need to accept that they'll occasionally waste 5-10 seconds clicking on an bad post. That's how keyword based alerts work.
This isn't directed towards you, but it's funny when people complain about how it wasted their time, then they comment a bunch of times on the post. Like obviously they weren't doing anything important or they could've just downvoted the post and closed the app.

No HDMI kills the deal anyway...

While you're at it, can you make the default deal alert, not send emails? Like have that toggle turned off? Push notifications are all I need.
