You mean the AI generated slop that was pulled from "kmjdesignsshop.com" which incidentally is a website that sells women's clothes (and nothing else) and has the header "ONYX HOMES" when you search for it?

Not saying I don't think you got a bad set, as many of these off-brand adjustable weights have issues with plate retention, but "read the reviews" when every review that's less than 5 stars is either "1 Star: excellent product and recommended to family!" or "3 Stars: Elegant. Regrettably, these produce a significant amount of commotion and wobble. I am undoubtedly employing the safety safeguard in the appropriate manner." Not even Google translate talks like that.

I feel like several of these off-brands have been hovering around this price since the start of the year. But seeing some of the legitimate reviews on other "brands" of similar design mention that the plates clank or seem loose or the retaining pins are hard to align, this might be one of those cases where springing for the $$$$ Powerblocks is a better choice—you really don't want your plates to come crashing down on your head or foot when you're at the peak of an overhead press because that'll cost way more than $300.
