For what this is, that is a great deal.
But for what it wants to be, I would say your better off with the EcoFlow Ultra if you want this ecosystem, or a piece by piece DIY setup with the equipment of your choice.

I sent back my ultra to build my own system, and I have a DP3 sitting at my desk that I am debating sending back as well, though if I had gotten it for this price I would keep it.

Thanks for the info, can you elaborate on why getting the Ultra? Is there a must have feautre? or just newer generation of hardware?

Features are more or less the same, its all about scalibilty.
The ultra has a strong enougy inverter that it will probably handle most homes by itself, the Pro you likely wont have it working for whole home without running dual units and the 50a hub.

By the time you get the 2nd unit and the hub, your likely spending more than the ultra.

As you add capacity, the ultra has ~6000kWh batteries compared to the ~4000kWh batteries of the pro, so you will get more capacity as you upgrade in units that make sense for whole home scenarios.

The last big difference (there are more minor ones) is solar input, the Ultra can handle nearly 2x the solar input, for anyone that wants to use solar to charge or to save electricity this is a big deal.

The ultra can stand in as a semi capable whole home setup instead of buying batteries, inverter, panels, etc.

The best way to put it in laymans is "The ultra is a whole home power station that can be portable, the Pro is a portable power station that can run a whole home"

So if your priority is mobility, like its not going to be in one spot all the time and you want to use it for travel, camping, etc then the pro wins just by default as the ultra is not easy to move other than from one side of the room to another.

If you are investing in a whole home power backup (and especially solar) system and your not wanting to go the DIY route, the ultra pretty much wins by default.

However this deal does make it temping to go with the Pro, but just for comparison I was able to buy a Ultra w/ warranty refurbished from Ecoflow on ebay for the same price with 2 batteries so it came with 12kwH capacity making it a better deal than this IMO (unless you want/need the pro)
