I'm living abroad, so I can have the reloadable mailed to me. Just want to makes sure circle credit works the same as any kind of store credit and can be used on anything and not just limited items.

EDIT:Was able to use Zelle once I found the routing and account number thanks to the instructions here https://www.targetcircl
Ok it seems you can access the account and routing number by choosing direct deposit to add money. With Zelle, did it have to make a small deposit to verify bank acct info?
No small deposit to verify bank information
you should never get the Target credit card

Odd. I tried adding the reloadable card to Zelle via my Chase account login. It said the reloadable account # needed to be 12 digits (it is 13) so I didn't go through. I then added the reloadable account #s to to my Venmo and it is making small deposits to verify the reloadable account.
Or do I need to switch to the reload card?
1. Apply for the reloadable card and activate it.
2. Load at least $50 to the card.
3. Spend at least $50 at Target in one transaction.
4. Target adds $50 back to the card.
5. The $50 (or more) now in the card can be spent at any store that accepts a debit card?
I never had any circle card or anything like that. So this would seem like good idea especially for the debit card? Credit card not so much if you have to pay fees if you pay late? I don't pay late and pay right away so which would be better? But you can do the reloadable card as well? So wouldn't that be the best option here as that would be a gift card? So why debit or credit card then if you have other debit or credit card?
* Credit card: the issuer check your credit history to see if you're trustworthy because basically they will "loan" you the money to cover your purchases and count on you to pay them back.
* Debit card: typically is tied to a bank account, and it's up to the bank to decide how much you can overspend the money you have in your account (overdraft protection) or restrict you to spend only what you have in your account.
* Preload card: similar to a debit card, but you can only spend up to the amount you had loaded to the card, no overdraft.
In terms of risk to the issuer, which determines how hard/easy to get a particular card type:
* Preload card poses no risk to the issuer, so it's easiest to get.
* Debit card poses some risks to the issuer if they provide overdraft protection, so they're will check your banking history, usually through a system called Chex www.chexsystems
* Credit card poses the highest risks to the issuer, and they'll scrutinize your credit history.

That's what I want to know. Terms and conditions state "Limit one (1) acquisition credit per guest in their lifetime (including RedCard Reloadable Account)."
So I assume that means if you got a sign up bonus previously via credit/debit card you won't get one this time but not sure.
