Will connecting two together give 240 split phase or single phase? I can't find the connector sold separately even on their website. Seems there is limited information to combine two units together for 240 split phase home back up. Is this a bad idea?

I've seen videos of connecting two together yields 240V. The question is whether it's a single phase or split phase 240V. See second bullet in description at https://www.amazon.com/Jackery-Ex...T4Q3X?th=1
The other question is why they are not selling the connector to connect two units together anymore as I can't find it online.

You are looking at different products. Your link is for 2000 plus 3000W, and this post is for 2000 PRO 2200W. Well, their naming is indeed confusing. Looking at the description of 2000 pro, you cannot connect 2 units in parallel to 240v.

Brother, I don't think attention to detail is your strong suit. My link is for the E2000Plus X 2 ea. The second bullet (with emphasis on the 240V) in the description says "2kWh - 24 kWh Flexible Expansion: The Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus supports up to 5 expandable battery packs, with power expanded from 2kWh to 12kWh. 2 * Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus Power Stations can be connected in parallel to expand to a total capacity of 24kWh, voltage to 240V and output to 6000W - fulfilling all your power requirements, both indoors and outdoors."
I honestly wouldn't mind having something like this but how quickly is battery degradation on this? Like if it's only holding something like 25% of it's charge in 10yrs, no way would I drop that kind of cash on a backup.
Just a heads up for anyone looking at OTHER Jackery models with higher capacity, on the Jackery US website you can use JKO15 to get 15% off. That's a good chunk of change when you get to the higher capacity models.

Almost definitely split phase if it has a 4 pin outlet, one is a neutral and you'll fry anything that expects to use that pin if it is single phase. Also makes much more sense considering how these little inverters work, easier and cheaper to run them as opposing phase 120v inverters.

Bruh, you're talking about a completely different product. This thread is for the 2000 v2, which is an updated 2000 Pro.
The one you're looking at is the 2000 Plus expandable unit, both in capacity and output.
2000 v2 is not expandable in any way and can only do 120V, whereas the 2000 Plus can take battery packs and also 240V when 2 of the base units are connected.
Yes, the one thing they share in common is the '2000' in their names.

Was reading up on past slickdeal post and I believe cheapest price was $800 (after clipping $100 coupon) on Amazon during BlackFriday 2024.
