I got an email today from Arby's stating Rewards members get a free sandwich with purchase the day after an upset. 3/20 - 24 only. No other details as far as what sandwich you get (roast beef is pictured) or if there's a minimum order threshold.

Please post if there is an upset since I don't follow NCAA basketball.
QA note: Only applies to games from 3/20/25 to 3/24/25. Offer valid for one day and only valid on online, pick-up-in-store orders. Valid on 1 a la carte sandwich with a $15 minimum purchase. Must have/establish an Arby's Rewards account to redeem.

I mean I guess they sometimes do deals like that; however, that place is not going to stay in business very long. They are already being fleeced by offering a BOGO deal, like I just did. I am only paying $8.15 on using this deal and that is only because in the minimum wage, lost cost of living state I am in; the lowest price to do this deal with is if the two items are $7.50 each. The only price that comes close is $7.69. That means I get two sandwiches (high calorie ones too) for $3.845 each.
so i was just able to procure the following haul for $4.30 plus tax TOTAL with this bafflingly thumbed down, derided offer:
1) Double BBQ Bacon Burger (regularly $10.79)
2) Apple Turnover (regularly $1.95)
3) Salted Caramel & Chocolate Cookie (regularly $2.35)
you've done a yeoman's work explaining how the Arby's offers *fundamentally* differ from other restaurants', ASideofrighteousness.
however, that won't stop posters from scoffing at it and thinking that these can be directly compared to some random free dog turd with $1+ purchase. the reasons are simple:
1) they cannot read.
2) math beyond the 3rd grade eludes them.
3) they are PROUD of #1 and #2.
at some point, we've just gotta sit back and laugh while enjoying our food.
Still, two more times to go!
Edit: I ended up doing an audible. I ended up going to a Middle Eastern restaurant today to use a BOGO coupon on shawarma and I am going to get gyros from Arby's using this deal. Do a little compare and contrast if you will.

hell, do 2 gyros spanning the transactions. for the $15+ transaction, select the pricey sandwich first when adding the deal (so that IT is what's given free), then use the gyro to reach (and exceed) the price threshold. i think that'll work, but double-check the order tabulation and total.
turnover+cookie more precisely reached the $15 ($15.09!) in my case, but if gyros are what you have a taste for...

Gyros will be a bit trickier. Funny thing is, the greek one has the highest calorie for price across all items EXCEPT for the king's hawaiian deluxe fish sandwich. As long as that sandwich remains on the menu, the greek gyro will always be second up.
Edit: Gyros in my area are priced at $6.19.
Edit edit: I ended up splurging instead of trying to get the best value. I decided on the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich priced at $6.59, Jalapeno Bites priced at $4.19 and a large Andes Mint Chocolate Shake priced at $4.29.
note that recently, i'd have offers run out as early as 12:NN a.m. *CST* the next day; if anything, the switch to Daylight Savings Time should have meant that they'd now run out at _1:NNam CDT_. so arby's is inconsistent on when they yank these things.
