One of the big drawbacks for the Sonos Ray...no HDMI.

Bought an open box from bestbuy for 130$. That's about all it's worth. No hdmi so it's optical input but it's great for a bedroom or a gaming system in a small room. I wouldn't use this in my main tv space.

lowest of all time new for this item is $149 so if you're not in a hurry, i'm sure it will drop lower

I would spend a bit more and get the Beam Gen 2. The Ray doesn't have HDMI and doesn't do Atmos.

I have one in the guest bedroom. The sound is impressive for its compact size. If you're already in the Sonos Ecosystem, and want another device to add to your whole-home audio system, it's a great buy at this price.

If you're not, if you're looking at it as a standalone device, it's less compelling. You could probably find a standard, non-Wi-Fi connected sound bar of similar quality, with HDMI ARC, on sale for this price.
