But yes, you CAN run it in your bedroom without "mutating", at least in the silly/fun sense :p
Cancer? supposedly fine according to most resin MSDS, if you want to believe them: they might not have had to do any actual in vivo testing, and especially nothing covering continuous casual exposure. Basically, if they're using chemicals not already known to be carcinogenic or similar to known carcinogenic oligomers/etc, they don't have to test or warn for any cancer risks... so lack of a warning might not mean much, because it may not guarantee it's actually safe. Fumes and potential for spills that are varying degrees of (mostly mildly) toxic in other ways? Ah, not so much, they're pretty open about the potential for toxic reactions to resin exposure for most UV resins. And that's before we get into whether they're being entirely truthful or not. Some (most?) water washable resins, even those that claim "low toxicity" or similar appeals to better safety, for example still contain 4-Acryloylmorpholine, which... you really shouldn't be putting down your drain, or handling without PPE.
