I got this when it was 800 dollars. There is a reason why it's that cheap. I don't think the sound quality of the speakers is that good. I had a pair of yamaha out door speakers that is 100 dollars, and it's much better. if you need the sonos amp, just buy it by itself, and buy other speakers. Almost all other speakers that I tired are better that the sonos one.

I don't blame them, just poor consumer education. They see an ad on Sonos, they see astroturfed comments online on how Sonos is the best, then they repeat the same message because they're parrots and that's what parrots do.

Then they buy it and say the same thing because they dare not feel any buyer's remorse because wouldn't it suck to find out you spent $1800 on a system that can be bested by a product a third of the price?
