My Frontier 1gb service went up to $90 a month.

I called them and threatened to move over to Xfinity, so they gave me 3 free months and lowered the price to $50/month for 12 months after that.

TDS offers $59.99 for life for 1 gbps in my area and didn't have to worry about price increase, At least for now 😊

This is what Frontier used to promise, price for life, but they always end up raising prices. I never trust these price for life promises.

A lot better than Spectrum. Spectrum always have outrage and double the price. I read good reviews online about Fiber.

Can confirm this company tries to nickle and dime you every chance they get. They refused to properly service lines creating constant outages. they charge an additional $50 service fee so they could take back my 6 year old router and wipe it so they could reuse it again after banking rental fees the entire time. If you don't return it at all they will charge $500. Only reason why i stuck with them as long as i did is because I literally had no other options at the time

Not available in SF…..
FiOS has been available in San Fernando for many years, maybe a couple of decades.

Has Frontier ruined the (parts of the) Fios network they bought from Verizon 10 years ago so badly that they're forced to resort to this sort of deep discounting?
Frontier actually installed FiOS in my small community of about 14,000 and it is down often for more than a day.

My experience is that T-mobile can be spotty at time depending on area.
Where does T-Mobile offer fiber optic service?

Fiber is not a company. People of course say that Fiber is great but not if the company providing it is not capable of managing it.

You really need to look before you Leap. As far for dumping scrotum make sure you get a email confirmation. Good luck, I honestly hope it works out.

I called them and I'm back down to $60, but it did start at $50 way back when. Too bad I don't have decent options to switch to and then come back for a "new customer" deal.
I think you and I started at the same time when that deal went on, u mentioned the deal for them to lower it back down?
