Hot damn! NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.8 S for only $356.35 (before taxes) is a heck of a deal.
Literally one of the sharpest prime lenses you can get. It's a must have lens for any photographer!
Not even close man! If you're on an extremely tight budget, then yes by all means go with the older AF-S 50mm (but you'll need the FTZ II adapter if you're on a Z camera, which is an additional $250).
Outside of that, the Nikkor Z 50mm f/1.8 S is miles ahead (I own it). It's proven to have superior image quality, to be sharper, have faster autofocus, and better corner performance. It also has better bokeh, it's weather-sealed, has less chromatic aberration, more aperture blades, and a higher DxOMark score (44 vs 19).
And it retails for $600.
So YES, $356.35 is a heck of a deal for this nifty-fifty!

Was looking at the 105mm Z Macro lens. With the discount, it's barely less than a new version. $821 refurbished versus $846 new (from Adorama). Guess I'll wait for a better deal.

Nikon refurbs aren't a good value when they aren't on a special sale. When they get additional mark-downs they can be pretty stellar though.
Smokin deal on that lens. It is normally in/out of stock at most places, regardless of condition. Excellent upgrade over the shorter 24-70mm Z kit lens. I love my 24-120mm. It stays on my camera 98% of the time. The other 2% is with the 40mm f2 Z lens for low light pics.
