I really don't care what nonsense people choose to believe, if they want to limit their diet or cooking to reflect that? More power to them. But I do hate how every deal on SlickDeals involving food has the health purists weigh in like they are doing us a favor.

A question for you though. If it was 1970 and you were smoking a pack a day, would you want someone to tell you "hey we have basically smoking gun proof these things will put you in an early grave"?
I'm all for free will and personal choice and freedom, do whatever makes you happy.

This sort of example can go both ways. Not every perceived danger is in fact harmful and worthy of giving a warning. Also, again... the dose makes the poison.. smoking a pack in a day is a high dosage. If you are using cooking spray in a reasonable manner then it's likely a non-issue. What is "reasonable" is what's debatable.
With the gift of hindsight, even a single cigarette per day is best avoided.
