It's not just hippies, and it's not just left or right. Lots of BS on the internet that people just swallow these days. The dose makes the poison, everything in moderation. I pan fried salmon the other day and considered airfrying it as a healthier option but then my rub would have blown all over the place and made a mess. Everything has tradeoffs. And yes, my rub had sugar in it because I happen to like flavor; I can still run a 5k despite the "damage to my metabolism."
I really don't care what nonsense people choose to believe, if they want to limit their diet or cooking to reflect that? More power to them. But I do hate how every deal on SlickDeals involving food has the health purists weigh in like they are doing us a favor.

this is the only stuff that makes instant non-stick for my stainless steal pans. tried other brands, store brands are the worst. they trick you into thinking it's non-stick but it's not. they word it as a cooking spray, but never mention non-stick because they cant stand by that.
Who would post something like this?! π Don't use this stuff ppl. Best way to break your metabolism
This post I actually understand. I get this exact same one in Costco for my bagel store and it works great. The posts I don't understand are all the ones I see lately that save you .40 cents on something weird that no one will buy.
There was some junk science story going around the internet about seed oils being bad for you. It has been completely debunked, but the hippies still believe it anyway. Our country is hopeless lol.
