Yikes not even wifi 6E and tplink how shall we say the US will likely come down hard on this chinese spy company in the next few years like they did to Huawei and ZTE who stole all their tech from Nortel and bankrupted that company. Tplink just doesn't update their firmware after a few months and allows rampant attacks on their routers. They are cheap for a reason.

CVE-2023-1389 is a high-severity security flaw impacting TP-Link Archer AX-21 routers that could lead to command injection, which could then pave the way for remote code execution.
I am not sure whether this vulnerability can be fixed with a firmware update, but I strongly recommend exercising caution when considering the purchase of this router.

It can and it was, well over a year ago.... So the only people affected are those who never upgrade their firmware.

Issues with netgear nighthawk and reconnecting through xfinity modem. Always habe to do entire factory reset. Would this tplink or another be good replacement? Trying not to spend more than $100

I am also having this issue too. Always hard reset required. Have been looking out for good routers for almost past 5 months but couldn't find one yet.

I dumped Netgear a while back and got on Synology bandwagon, the router is rock solid never needing restart... ever. It's just magical after the Netgear and Dlink expperience.
