I have had this since my son was around 12 months old, and my son really liked it. It is still a popular toy today (he is ~18 months old now). Definitely used differently than it was when he was 12 months old. I have one piece missing sadly, but it is still a fun toy. Hoping I will find it on my next deep clean. I like how the pieces can go into the toy when done playing with it. A negative part is that when a child throws the porcupine with the pieces in the storage (the belly part), the storage part may come off making all of the pieces go out. Still think it is a good developmental toy though.
