Can this output to a 4K 240Hz monitor? I believe it can with DisplayPort + Display Stream Compression enabled from what I'm reading. Thinking about upgrading from my dual 25" LCD monitors to a single 32" 4K 240Hz OLED monitor. Any feedback from techy folks would be appreciated.
Edit: How does this work exactly using the Thunderbolt 4 port?
At $999, this would've totally been an impulse buy. The RTX 50 series laptops are already rolling out and the one Acer I've been eyeing in particular comes out towards the middle of April. The one I'm looking at though is 16 vs 14 so it's not exactly apples-to-apples, but all the other feature I'm looking for (OLED screen, 5070 Ti, etc.) are worth waiting for at the price point listed above. Like I said, at $999, I would've probably made concessions, but at $1250, I'll likely wait for the newer model.

Agree. 125W 4070 is essentially the same as the 115W on the hp victus selling for $899. a real deal would be a 4080

I saw this a week ago, almost pulled the trigger. But looking at the reviews, the speakers seem terrible, and the build quality is not that great. But 32GB ram and RTX4070 at this price is a great deal if you don't care for build quality and speakers

I got predator 16 from eBay refurb deal sold by Acer and had an abysmal time. Could just be the refurb but a lot of the problems I had were common online. Black screen on boot with loading wheel, predator sense breaking CONSTANTLY, no control over fans and the list goes on. Loved the laptop though wish it could've worked for me.
Correct. It won't be, but at $1250, my logic is to wait and pay the little extra to get those other features. If this was priced at $999, I would've ignored those features and went with this.

This model does in fact have 32GB RAM. Searching online will bring up many 16GB variants of this laptop. See link below.
Exactly what I've been searching for: Small footprint, Intel Core Ultra 9, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070, and Thunderbolt.

*edit* Found it. 125 wattage. Oof tempting with no tax via Payboo.
