I have bad experience with ram from Corsair, they work well on some of my computers but crash often on my other computer, replace it with ram from team then it works fine.
Anyone know why this memory module won't work in a Dell Precision 3561? But, the Crucial modules will
Dealing with this right now with an XPS15 but it won't even boot with this RAM. Just gives the 2-5 code indefinitely. From what i've read, Dells are very picky about RAM for some reason, but I don't understand why that is.
I have changed my vote to TD: Not a very good product. Saving money ain't it if the chit don't work. Hard to believe this is a "you get what you pay for" situation with the Cosair brand, tho..

Someone mentioned that this does not work with Lenovo laptops. Do anyone know why that would even matter?
So a lot of laptop manufacturers test their systems with specific hardware vendors. On many desktop pc motherboards often times ram from random companies are validated to work. But various models from different manufacturers will only want to work with whatever brands they tested. Basically look up the brand and model your laptop is currently using. And try going on eBay looking for the used refurbished larger module version. I bet those will work. So for example a lot of manufacturers like Dell will validate for crucial, sk hynix or Samsung for their OEM factory ram.
