I wonder if they are trying to flush out the batch of defective cords. I was looking at the recent reviews and they are mostly all bad. It's a great price, just make sure it works before the return window. Read the comments, people say they have to change the setting on the debug tool for PCVR. You may have to put the right-angle USB backward with the cord going away forward from your face, not back like normal to get USB-3 connectivity if not you will only get a USB-2 connection. Also, you have to get a specific watt speed of a USB-C cable that charges the quest while you play. Last people have recently said that the cable is getting a moisture error while plugging. It's such a mess of what they are going through with this product.
I'll give it a shot for $10, wish me luck.

Heads up, deal looked dead to me but it's only applicable to the seller "SimpleLifeLLC". Amazon was defaulting to "shipped and sold by amazon" on my end
