decent deal for the crazy times we live in, but this excludes basically everything but their most basic pizza styles.
Without this code, the same pizza would be $16 by me, which is a joke considering it's the most basic Little Caesars style. The regular price used to be $5 for a 1 topping pie. How is it 3x more in a few years?

Pretty good deal esp if you add Old World Pepperoni as one of the toppings

Just wish they would let you change the crust to thin or another type

I'm in Southern California, where those prices do not exist. Even when there are National promotions, often you would see things like "$3 more for California locations" or whatever. The minimum wage is $20/hour for chain restaurants not to mention the crazy cost of rent and taxes, etc., so everything here is hiked up, even places like Little Caesars where the Classic Cheese is $10 now when it was like $5 not that long ago. I'd never buy anything there at regular price now.

I'm in Southern California in L.A county and the classic cheese is 6.99. The most expensive is the 5 meat one that is 12.50.

That's fine but that's not what I was replying to. He said he can get a two topping large for $9 something. That's what I replied to. And obviously different stores will have different prices. The point was in general, SoCal stores are gonna be more expensive.

A large 2 topping pizza for 5.99 is a steal for current time. 1 hr of work a person can feed their family with takeout. I don't think there are any other deal that can beat this.

Interesting to watch CA pizza cost revolve entirely around min wage. Local and state income tax kills that min wage for the employees, commercial property tax, required benefits for 50+ employees, and income tax kills the company margins. Believe it or not those margins are why companies are open, not sunshine, rainbows and the emotions of entry level skill sets.

Its a great deal for cheap pizza. If you want higher quality pizza from a local shop or other chain, feel free to get that and pay the price. $6 for a fresh pizza can't be beat in this economy. I know Little Caesars has the different cheese blend that some don't care for, I understand. To me it is a tasty pizza that will satisfy a dinner and a couple lunches that can help me save for other things.

Zip code 91911 has the $5.99 promo pricing, $6.99 for a classic cheese off the menu. No mention of the premade "hot n ready" prices on the website. If you create your own pizza that's where they really get you on price.

From eating pizzas and suffering through the pain, I choose the best pizzas based on what does not scar my esophagus. I am pretty sure I am going to get esophageal cancer soon from all the acid reflux.

Which is why I had esophagoscopy and biopsies done. No CA. On PPI's intermittently. Feel great.

All cheese contains fat which cooks out and puddles up. If you don't want pizza with oil on it from the cheese, then order cheeseless pizza. And I won't even get into what pepperoni and sausage has in it. I think folks the complain about the fat in pizza need to order vegetarian with no cheese.
other places, with a lot more cheese, don't jet oils on bites. I get pizza ingredients like cheese contains fat which can render into oil while baking, but cheese pizza vs cheese pizza wise, Costco pizza is the only on so far that jets (vegetable?) oil even after I had already used paper towels to soak up all the liquid oil before biting the pizza slice. Costco pizza pre-covid didn't do this

2-topping is basically their extramostbestest but with less cheese. For $6 it's a great deal.

16 dollars is a lot more expensive than what you claimed. I was showing the variances.

I moved to California during covid and thought that it was California Costco pizza that must be different. Before that, the pizza was great and didn't gush oil. I'm with you 100%! Costco must have changed their recipe to something terrible during covid. So sad
