I don't see it listed so it's probably one of their Chinese knives. I've seen other models go as low as $20 over the years but this model might be a tad longer and the days of those prices are probably over. Good price if this is the knife you are looking for.

Saw the Achieve for $11 at Chicago Knife Works though you'd have to pay shipping, still though might be worth it if picking up a few.

Was about to buy this, thanks for the info. Any recommendations on a good blade under $40?

I'd pick the guy with a baseball bat over the guy with the 4" folding pocket knife.

Huge fan of mini praxis https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BF8FPH5L

Also fyi, in case you're shopping the Walmart ozark trail folder, I bought it out of sheer curiosity and it most definitely is a $10 knife and nothing more.

If you're not interested in a knife made in China, it's going to be hard to get anything under $40 except for a very rare sale. FWIW, for $60 you can pick up a Kershaw Leek at your local Walmart, and that's made in the US.

Tons of good Chinese-made D2 steel knives under $40 (I'd look for D2 over this 8Cr steel, personally. https://www.knifejoy.com/collecti..._141745=D2

honestly if it's something that's going to last I'd be fine under $100. Thanks for the link!

If that's the main criteria I think Buck has some made in the US model for this kind of price with 420hc, a few other brands but definitely not a huge selection.

If you can hold out for a sale you can get a US made Kershaw for sub 50. I bought a Kershaw Leek for $38 in January. I've also had good luck with Spyderco seconds if you every catch that sale
