Ordered it last night. Unfortunately, I did not have 10% back on Prime Visa card. The extra cash back was not mentioned for me on the product page. I also specifically checked the card benefits page that shows items with more than 5% back. There were other items with 10% and 20% back but not the colorsoft. So, that bit is YMMV.

Note that you can cancel the kindle unlimited subscription renewal immediately upon placing the order. You don't even have to wait for the kindle to arrive. Place the order with the optional 3 month subscription and then cancel the subscription right then. It'll show you that renewal will not happen, but that you can use the benefits for 3 months. This way you don't have to set an alert and inadvertently pay the monthly subscription if you are not intending to.

For me, the 10% cash back was only showing on the website (amazon.com) and not on the app, in case it helps.

I don't get these colored versions of Kindle readers unless it's for weight. A Kindle Fire is much cheaper, faster, and has a Kindle reader on it.

If a Fire tablet works for someone when reading for extended periods or outdoors in bright sun, then I would agree.

However, one might choose this for the same reasons as purchasing a monochrome Kindle reader, just with the addition of color.

Bought 2 units both didn't have yellow cast so maybe Amazon has fixed the issue. Text looks a little sharper than my oasis, and everything feels snappier. I do wish there is still a physical page turn botton.
