Lots of complaints of poor quality on the product pages. I'm assuming that's why the discounts.

This brand is frequently highly discounted at Macys. I wouldnt expect this to be heirloom quality tableware. We bought this brand before for our basement and my mother in assisted living. All total 20 place settings. No significant issues with it. Are all the plates perfect like fine china? No. However we havent had a single item break and get compliments all the time. No guest has said "oh boo hoo this plate is poor quality. I cannot eat my meal. I will report you to the HOA and gossip with our neighbors." If you are expecting to host a state dinner….well go spend more money. For day to day it has been fine.

I bought these about 7 years ago for daily use. Several arrived broken during shipping, but Macy's sent a replacement box. Since then, most of my bowls have chips or cracks. I also rarely use the 2 smallest bowls. It was a great deal, and I was super excited about the extra dishes, but now I am on the lookout for a new, more durable set to replace these. They served their purpose for me, and now I am ready to upgrade.

I've had the Amelia since I got my house 4 years ago and this has been my daily dinnerware. It's been holding up well. No complaints. Highly recommend.

I bought the Denmark Soft Square about 3 years ago for daily use. The largest bowl is on the smaller side, but other than that, they're great. Cheap and have a clean aesthetic. I would buy these again.

I bought this set a few years ago for daily use. I'm actually really happy with the set. I love the bowls. They're perfect for sauces and sides. They stack on top of each other nicely in the cupboard. The quality is OK. I've broken a couple of items, and others are chipped. I'll probably buy this set again when I break another big plate. I'd recommend it.

At this price, these are cheaper than the plastic plates at Target and Walmart and probably aren't poisoning you with micro plastics. In for a set.

Anyone know what they usually sell for?

I got this ~2 years ago.

3? were broke in the box... the glaze is a little uneven, a few pimples a few micro stains (pin head size brown spots)

They don't feel great compared to my Crate & Barrel .... but they work (used them temporarily)

the mini bowls... omg so many bowls... i kind of like them, little ramikens, but way too many. 1 set cereal bowls... 1 set tiny ramikan and then 2 medium sets that are too similar in size for dips or whatever.

Same experience…there are minor cosmetic defects on some of the items. However for the price (vs something like Crate and Barrel) it is acceptable.
