I have 3 I've been using for about a month. Although I love the convenience of it, the battery does run out pretty quickly. Which is why I have 3. lol

I like the idea but with how infrequently I use a glue gun this is just another battery powered device I would have to constantly maintain to keep the battery alive. Corded hot glue guns are fine

This one electronically extrudes the glue, while the AE model has the older trigger squeeze method, while I don't think you can dispense as easily

Ryobi compact and regular size glue gun is $40 after hack. Making each tool $20 each and sell other for $30 if you don't need it. Hoto is garbage brand and recently been a target for promotion by SD staff.
I believe this is a brand that became popular in China because they build mediocre tools with very nice modern designs. You're mainly paying for the nicer look of the tool.

  1. I didn't know there were glue gun designs out there that looked this cool.
  2. I'm seeing HOTO everywhere these days. I'm out of the loop. Where did these guys come from?
Even costco is selling Hoto stuff. I thought this was just another made up company name for a knock off product.

Not a knock the product, but I'm really NOT fond of these 90° handle designs. It looks cheap and not well thought out. Angled grips have been very common for such a long time and for good reason, ergonomics; You may want to consider this if you want to buy this glue gun.

They came to FP by paying $$$ to SD. All their stuff on SD are sponsored promotions. Not really a deal.

I bought this for 25 a year ago, so that og price is not accurate. However, I love this tool and recommend it
The dyslexic in me read this as "I bought this 25 year ago.." Thinking to myself, they had this technology decades ago?

Cordless glue gun is a giant step for mankind
You're telling me. I use hot glue about 100x more than I used to ever since getting a Ryobi ONE+ cordless gun
