Good deal. Plan on getting the replacement gel ear cushions. Makes a lot of difference, IMHO.

Got the deal last time and they are worth the money. Reacts to sound and in .02 seconds. Solid build and amplifies outdoor sounds…good for shooting range.
Bought gel pads: PROHEAR GEP03 on sale now for $16 bucks Amazon, rated 4.8 with 3,000 ratings…$79 MSRP is a stretch

Indoor no, I have to use these and the ear buds type plugs underneath them

outdoor is fine

like others have said the gel cushions are good also, the stock cushions are stiff and push my safety glasses into the sides of my ears and start to hurt after a bit.

I wore these ear pros the a month ago to shoot trap for about 6 hours. They performed great; but I wished I had listened to the comments on getting the gel cups. I have a large head the ear pros started to get a little uncomfortable around hour 4.

I bought 4 pairs of these to shoot trap with some family. I am pleased with how they performed, I do not regret buying at all. However; definitely upgrade to the gel cups. I have a larger head so they started to become uncomfortable after about 4 hours of continuous wear.

Foam earplugs used in addition to any electronic muffs. (Or even non electronic since many indoor ranges can be brutal on the ears).

I have the single mic version and it's excellent for indoor range. Yes I did upgrade to the gel cups, worth it as well.

$25 for the quad mics IMO would be an automatic purchase if you are in the market. Invest the extra $20 in gel pads for an excellent ear muff. If you extra sound proofing, just put on ear plugs with the muffs. The mics will do their job in isolating voices etc that you'll still be able to hear.

Check out AKT1 sport. Moderately priced at about $95 but comfortable and durable, and good sound attenuation. Or check out Magna Lens which allows you to connect earmuffs directly to their eyewear, awesome system. For high end earmuffs Sordin and 3M Peltor can be considered.

Thank you I've been thinking there has to be something between a $50 walker pair and a $300 Sordin. I'll check out the AKT1

Are these stereo? I ask because the other Walker's Slim muffs are mono and that makes them a deal breaker.

Not just stereo: Quadraphonic

"4 hi-gain omnidirectional microphones that pick up sounds 360 degrees around the shooter"

But don't expect "Hi-Fi" as in audiophile quality sound. They're excellent for my purpose which is hearing around me while on the range or in the boonies.

PS: This is really a smokin' SD IMHO (and experience). I thought they'd be OOS by now, but they soon will be, and I don't think the omni version goes on sale very often. Snoozers are losers, as they say....
