Then either you've forgotten where you've come from or you can never be satisfied
My monitor is 1000r and I love it
So I'm supposed to post knowingly false information so I don't forget where I come from? Read any review for this monitor and they will all say the same things I did about it lol
I own the monitor, I didn't return it, what did i type to make it seem like I'm not satisfied with it? I paid quite a bit more than this price for it and still don't regret the purchase. please make some sense here

I'm saying the text is probably not as bad as people make it out to be and that plenty of people used 27" and 32" 1080p monitors and lived.
I don't read reviews as much as I used to without taking everything with a grain of salt since tech and gaming nerds are some of the most insatiable individuals on the planet. There's always something to complain about as they min max everything in sight, A-B testing everything to death..but in reality, no one can tell what is better without A-B testing other than these dedicated reviewers whose job it is to find deficiencies.
And the general community is sharing two brain cells, where they just parrot everything the reviewers since they're enclosed in an echo chamber.

But none of this was a surprise for me, I knew all this when I bought it. I didnt buy it to read text, I bought it for gaming and media, and its superb at those.

Yeah, I saw those videos. How they zoom in on static photos to unrealistic levels to find discrepancies. Totally a real world scenario.
Also why I stopped watching digital foundry videos. No one in their right mind is counting pixels and the general consumer should not care. I get they're advocating for improved technology which is great, but individuals should not let that sway them in their purchasing decisions, they should see the monitor for themselves.
You can take all this and compare it to the VR industry. Look at the lenses, they are arguably all terrible. Sure, some of the new ones have improved sweet spot, but they still suck and have terrible fringing as you get closer to the edge of your field of view. But you will never hear any reviewers mentioning that it isn't good enough for them because that is the best it can get, until there's something better..and when that happens, all of a sudden, the older lenses are unplayable. They're all completely, mind numbingly insatiable.

Text is easer to read on my 32" 1440p Dell from 10 feet away than on this 39" oled from 2 feet away. And would be far worse for someone without perfect vision.

It's that bad, huh? Alright, thanks for letting me know. I'm still considering getting this monitor, but maybe I'll withhold until I see for myself, thanks
TLDR: Text is perfectly legible on this monitor. The total experience with the monitor is great! If in doubt, check it out at a local store.
I am not a professional gamer, this one has no sway with me. I have a 43" 4K 60hz Samsung that was half this price and I am fine with that. This is coming from 2 x 27 1440p's, don't miss.
I am also a C64 kid so I'm old, and my eyes are old. Bigger and more PPI win out for me.

The 45 was too big for Alot of the games I play! The 39 is almost too big but I love it
